We designed custom-made seats called Penkki 2000 for the Riihisaari museum. The benches were made from the museum’s old logs and fit perfectly into the wonderful environment of the museum.
ORTOBOX tables can be found in the museum’s multi-purpose space. The height-adjustable legs enable working both standing and sitting. You can also turn the legs completely under the tabletop, so that the tabletop becomes a kind of small podium or platform on the floor. With the legs folded under the tabletop, the table is also easy to store.
In the spirit of the circular economy, we also used old logs from the museum to make the tables.
We interviewed Nikke Kaartinen, Director of the Riihisaari Museum, and wanted to know how Palad furniture has served the needs of the Riihisaari museum.
“We wanted to use the materials saved from the former building in the new furniture, and with the help of Palad furniture solutions, it was very successful. There are many solutions available on the market, but the durability, quality, visuals that Palad offers were the reasons why the cooperation with the Palad furniture brand was implemented.”
