KAARI™ is a solid wood bench with a curved design language that combines ergonomics, practicality, and sculptural form. The soft curve on the underside naturally guides the sitting position and provides a comfortable place to sit. At the same time, the arched form brings visual lightness to the bench and directs attention to its shape while highlighting the living surface of the wood.

The curved form lightens the solid-wood construction of the KAARI™ bench, creating an airy, visually open appearance. Thanks to the curved underside, the legs fit comfortably underneath the bench, enabling an ergonomic sitting position. At the same time, the curved shape makes the surrounding area easier to clean.

The KAARI™ bench is hand-carved from solid wood, and its carefully considered design language allows the material’s natural character to take center stage. The bench can be crafted from reclaimed rescue materials that have served a previous purpose or from new solid wood, depending on the project and usage requirements. This allows the appearance and character of the bench to be adapted to different spaces.

The smooth seating surface provides a pleasant user experience, framed by naturally textured sides and ends. The contrast between the refined seating surface and the textured areas highlights the character of the material. The seating surface is treated with a plant-based wax that enhances the natural feel of the wood and makes the surface easy to maintain. If needed, the surface can be refreshed by reapplying the wax treatment.

Each bench is hand-carved as a custom-made piece, with dimensions tailored to the space and intended use. KAARI™ is particularly well-suited to public environments such as waiting areas, lobbies, museums, and resort destinations, but it performs equally well in private and semi-public settings. Its durable construction also allows for outdoor use.
