Our new charity partner for 2025 is Sporttijengi

Purchasing a TATTIS™ chair is also an ethical choice. Profits from each TATTIS™ chair sold are directed to Sporttijengi, a local Kuopio-based association that promotes youth well-being by offering hobby opportunities and community through sports. Sporttijengi does valuable work in collaboration with schools and youth services – its volunteers help young people discover the joy of physical activity and the sense of accomplishment that comes with it.

Sporttijengi

Our charity partner in 2022-2023 was the Punkaharju SOS Children’s Village

In 2022-2023 the profits from TATTIS™ chairs proceeded supporting the activities of the SOS Children’s Village. The partnership with Punkaharju Hotel was one example of how TATTIS™ products concretely support social well-being and provide a safe environment for children.

TATTIS™ chairs were available for purchase at Punkaharju Hotel. The hotel’s owner, Saimi Hoyer, decided that all proceeds from the TATTIS™ chairs would be donated to the Punkaharju SOS Children’s Village. Saimi has become familiar with the Children’s Village through her children’s friends. The Children’s Village offers support to children and a safe, home-like environment in difficult family situations.

Our charity partner in 2020–2021 was Kapua.

The proceeds from the TATTIS™ chair were directed to support Kapua’s work, which raises funds for a more equitable world by combining charity with physical challenges and adventures.

Kapua brings together volunteers who raise funds for international development cooperations and youth work in Finland by climbing mountains and pushing their limits. The funds raised are channeled through trusted Finnish organizations to projects that support the well-being of individuals and communities.

The collaboration was also personally meaningful for Palad. Palad designers Jaana and Heikki climbed Mount Ras Dashen in Ethiopia, reaching 4,550 meters over seven days while raising funds for Kapua. Following this experience, all proceeds from the TATTIS™ chairs were directed to support Kapua’s work.

Our charity partner in 2016–2019 was Women’s Bank (Naisten Pankki).

The proceeds from the TATTIS™ chairs were directed to support Women´s Bank´s work, which aims to strengthen women’s status and livelihoods in developing countries.

Funds raised through TATTIS™ chairs supported women’s vocational training, entrepreneurship, and opportunities for independent income. Women´s Bank´s work helps women build a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Women’s work brings security, hope, and opportunities to influence their own lives. By supporting women’s education and financial independence, the well-being of entire communities is strengthened.
