When the designers were challenged to design the Senior Campus where they would like to spend their old age, it was clear that furniture from the Palad design brand, which has a large empathetic footprint, was also selected for the destination.

The Senior Campus, aimed at the elderly, is a complex made up of several residential buildings. The main idea behind the interior is to support natural encounters between residents, the forming of a community, and the emergence of social interaction. The senior campus is designed as a home where you can have fun and live a full, active life.

The communal spaces and the yard area of ​​the residential buildings are furnished with multi-purpose and beautiful Palad design furniture.  Furniture designed for public spaces can withstand use and wear.

The communal spaces located in the middle of the round residential buildings have various functions, which include, for example, lounge areas, a communal kitchen, a library with reading rooms as well as various hobby spaces.

Modularity increases adaptability

The modular TUMA™  sofa twists in an oval shape, taking into consideration the different heights and sizes of people. There is a suitable, ergonomic seat for everyone, regardless of size.

A central module can be opted out from various different options and it can be installed in the middle of the oval-shaped couch. You can rest your back against the padded backrest, you can place a coffee cup on the tabletop, and you can bring reading material to the book and magazine rack for shared use. Different variations diversify the possibilities of using the couch groups.

The padded TUMA-R™  ottoman chosen for the premises is an attractive, functional interior element that can be used individually or as part of a furniture group. The TUMA-R™ ottoman, which curves into an oval shape, is available in three different sizes and also as a model with a lid, the interior of which can be used as a storage space. For example, board games can easily be slipped inside the ottoman, so they are within reach for communal game moments.

The curved design language of the sofas and ottomans is repeated in the rounded shapes of the  TUMA-P™  table. Thanks to its design, the TUMA-P™ table is versatile. Different groups and queues can be created from the tables, and seats can be arranged around them. The TUMA-P™ table is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

SLICE™  benches from Palad’s collection were chosen for the yard area of ​​the Senior Campus. The benches made of wood, tapering towards one end, are timeless and sleek.
